Who We Are

About We Buy Septic Companies

We are a direct principal buyer for septic, onsite wastewater, grease trap, and water treatment service companies. Not a broker; we buy for our own account.

Principal Buyer Disclosure: We Buy Septic Companies is a direct acquirer and principal buyer. We are not a licensed business broker, business broker platform, attorney, accountant, appraiser, or fiduciary advisor for the seller. We represent our own acquisition interests. Sellers are strongly encouraged to retain their own independent CPA, attorney, and business advisors before entering any transaction with us.

What We Do

We Buy Septic Companies purchases septic pumping, onsite wastewater, grease trap, and water treatment service companies directly from owners. No broker in the middle, no seller commission paid to us.

Our primary acquisition focus is septic and onsite wastewater: companies that pump tanks, service drain fields, provide portable sanitation, or operate in the broader residential and commercial wastewater service market. We also consider grease trap and commercial kitchen compliance businesses, and water treatment/well pump service companies.

We are buyers, not advisors. We do not represent sellers, provide valuations for the seller's benefit, or act as the seller's fiduciary. Our interest is in acquiring operating businesses that fit our criteria and that we can operate well long-term.

What We Are Not

This distinction matters and we want to be clear about it.

  • We are not a business broker
  • We are not acting as your agent or representative
  • We are not providing legal or accounting advice
  • We are not providing an independent appraisal for your benefit
  • We are not your fiduciary advisor

Sellers are encouraged to retain their own CPA, business attorney, and independent advisor before agreeing to any transaction.

Our Acquisition Criteria

We are transparent about what we look for so owners can quickly assess whether a conversation makes sense.

Primary Category: Septic & Wastewater

Septic pumping, drain field service, onsite wastewater management, and portable sanitation companies. Route density, recurring compliance demand, and fleet condition are the key value drivers.

Secondary: Grease Trap & FOG

Commercial grease trap pumping, kitchen exhaust hood cleaning, and used cooking oil businesses. Recurring compliance contracts with commercial restaurants are the focus.

Secondary: Water Treatment

Water filtration, softener installation and service, well pump, and conditioning businesses. Recurring maintenance agreements are weighted heavily.

General Size Range

We review service businesses case by case. Revenue, normalized earnings, route density, market, assets, owner involvement, and transition needs help determine whether an acquisition conversation is appropriate.

Our Confidentiality Commitment

We understand that unnecessary disclosure can create risk. Information sharing is discussed with the seller and governed by any applicable agreement:

Initial inquiries can contain only the high-level information a seller chooses to share.

We discuss what information may be shared and with whom before a later process stage.

Any employee, lender, customer, or supplier outreach is discussed as part of the agreed process.

The parties can consider an NDA before sensitive financial or operational documents are shared.

An initial inquiry does not require you to share sensitive records or continue.

You can stop the process at any time without obligation.

Our Acquisition Philosophy

We are private buyers with a long-term view. We acquire to own and operate, not to resell, restructure, or strip assets.

Owner Legacy

Most owners selling a field-service business spent years building it. We take that seriously. Our goal is continuity for your crew, your customers, and the community you serve.

Long-Term Ownership

We acquire businesses to operate and grow them, not to flip them. Employees, customer relationships, and service-area reputation matter to us beyond the close.

Seller Independence

We represent our own interests in any transaction. We encourage every seller to retain independent legal and financial counsel, as it leads to better outcomes for both sides.

Private Process

We do not list your business publicly. Your employees, customers, and suppliers are kept out of any conversation until you decide, in writing, to include them.

Buyer principal and team information will be published before launch.
